PALADIN MEDIA GROUP TO PREMIER “REBELLION OF THOUGHT” AT 19TH ANNUAL VIRGINIA FILM FESTIVAL

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA – October 19, 2006 - Paladin Media Group and the Brothers Williamson announce the premier of their much anticipated and controversial documentary Rebellion of Thought at the 19th annual Virginia Film Festival in Charlottesville, VA.Five years in the making, this documentary takes a critical look at the role of faith in a post-modern world. The Brothers Williamson (Brad & Kent C. Williamson) traveled the nation interviewing some of the world’s leading theological minds as well as the common man and woman. Kent, the film’s director, described the documentary as a “total assault on the heart, mind, and soul of the viewer.” The making of this film became a journey for the Brothers Williamson as they attempted to answer questions not only about the potentially conflicting worldviews of faith and post-modernity, but also about their own personal beliefs. In keeping with the theme of this year’s film festival, Revelations: Finding God at the Movies, Rebellion of Thought features interviews with such notable thinkers as Gene Edward Veith (World Magazine), D.A. Carson (The Gagging of God), Ken Myers (Mars Hill Audio), and many others. The film will screen at 4:30pm on October 28th at the Regal Cinema on Charlottesville’s Downtown mall. Tickets are $6 and can be purchased at www.vafilm.com or by calling 1-800-UVA-FEST. For more information about the film and to view the film’s trailer, please visit www.RebellionOfThought.com.
