“REBELLION OF THOUGHT” TO SCREEN AT GIDEON FILM FESTIVAL

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA – April, 9th, 2008 - Paladin Media Group and the Brothers Williamson announce the North Carolina premiere of their highly controversial documentary Rebellion of Thought at the 1st Annual Gideon Media Arts Conference & Film Festival.

Reviewers are saying Rebellion of Thought: post-modernism, the church, and the struggle for authentic faith is, “sure to cause waves in the world of Christianity”*, it “may end up being one of the best documentary films of the year”* and it’s “a superbly made, thought provoking film.”** Five years in the making, the Brothers Williamson (Brad & Kent C. Williamson) traveled the nation capturing the heart and soul of this divisive issue.

Rebellion of Thought became a journey for the Brothers Williamson as they attempted to answer bold questions not only about the potentially conflicting worldviews of faith and post-modernity, but also about their own personal beliefs. The filmmakers interviewed such notable thinkers as Gene Edward Veith (World Magazine), D.A. Carson (The Gagging of God), Ken Myers (Mars Hill Audio), and many others.

Rebellion of Thought will screen at 1:15pm on April 16th at the Gideon Media Arts Conference & Film Festival. Director Kent C. Williamson will conduct a time of Questions & Answers immediately following the film’s screening. Tickets for the event are $5 for adults.
